HONET 2022: call for PhD dissertation/Thesis & Posters
IEEE HONET 2022 IEEE 19th International Conference on Smart Communities: Improving Quality of Life Using ICT, IoT & AI will include a Special Session on PhD Dissertation/Thesis and Posters which allows students and faculty to present research and work in progress in form posters and short papers. Design a poster which summarizes and illustrates concepts as well as provides extensive results on your PhD Dissertation/Thesis and on-going research progress.
Poster and Short Paper Submission Guidelines
• The submission deadline for the PhD Dissertation and Poster is available
here. The HONET website should be consulted for any changes in the submission deadline and updates.
• In addition to your poster, you may also submit a short paper limited to three pages in length. Short papers must be submitted through EDAS using link https://honet-ict.org/author-inst.html. PhD Dissertation and Poster Session chairs Fareena Saqib (fsaqib (AT) uncc.edu) and Urooj Ainuddin (uroojain (AT) neduet.edu.pk) should be contacted for questions.
• The main components of the paper should follow the IEEE format (available
here), the papers will go through a review process and only the accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.
• Posters and short papers will be evaluated (independently of each other) and selected based on the novelty of proposed research and demonstration as well as the clarity and completeness.
